MLN (Military League North) details can be found on the British Army Orienteering Club page and results can normally be found here.

Events are generally held on a Wednesday and are usually open to the public, but will generally need pre-event security clearance if held on MOD land. Further information is available from the current League Secretary, (Maj Steve Goose).

NN Committee meeting 22.9.22 - posted 8.9.22

Due to the sad news reported today of the death of the Queen this afternoon, the scheduled committee meeting for 8.9.22 has been moved to Thursday 22.9.22.

Our commiserations go out to the Royal Family on this very sad day.

 

Durham Riverside Trails - posted 15.6.22

A series of permanent course and other trails have been set up by Durham Cathedral in conjuction with the University of Durham around the banks of the river Wear in Durham, details can be found here.

NN Club Top - posted 9.1.22

The new, re-designed NN Club O top has finally arrived. It was on show following the CLOK team relay event at Flatts Lane today, where there was an impressive line up of club members modelling it for a photo shot, kindly taken by Frank Shillitoe (NATO). The photo can be viewed here. Many thanks for all those who were instrumental in its design. If you have ordered one or would like one then contact our club chairperson.

 

The British Orienteering eLearning Event Safety Course - posted 25.9.20

British Orienteering have launched an E-Learning Event Safety Course. Attendance at a British Orienteering Event Safety and Welfare Workshop is a mandatory requirement for all Organisers, Planners, Controllers and other key officials at all levels of British Orienteering registered Events. This course is currently free till the end of this year and the course takes approximately 1 hour to complete. Full details can be found here.

 

'The Run In' DUOC podcasts - posted 7.9.20

You can now listen to over 30 episodes of DUOC podcast, The Run In. It's made with club orienteers in mind, and gives you a fun and chatty insight into the experiences of orienteers from the UK and beyond. As a member of the GB team, Will Gardner brings his international experience, and as a journalist and commentator, Katherine Betts gets to the heart of the guest's story. New full-length episodes are released every fornight, and some quick-fire "Sprint" episodes have been added, meaning there's something new to listen to every week.
