Provisional Details
Info: This event will be a 45 minute Score event – simply visit as many controls as you can in 45 minutes by running, walking or jogging. Suitable for all abilities!
Travel: The event will be in and around Wolsingham, with start, finish and registration outside the St. Anne’s Center (Fenwick Fields, Wolsingham, DL13 3AT), at grid ref NZ 07185 37228, ‘what3words’ – ///scrub.occupiers.stormy, google maps. We will have our Club Feather flag at registration to help you spot us!
The nearest bus stop is Hamsterley Road End (0.1km/0.05miles, nos. 101). Bus number 101 is the service from Bishop Auckland (including the rail station for services to/from Darlington) via Crook (where connection can be made from services from Durham) to Stanhope. A service arrives from Bishop Auckland at ~11:30am (departs Bishop Auckland Rail Station at 10:54, Crook at 11:15, this would require the 10:30 service from X46 Durham Bus Station; there is also a ~10:30 arrival if you prefer a bit more time beforehand). There is an arrival from Stanhope at ~11.15. Let us know if for any reason these are delayed as an extension to the start window can be made.
Parking: There is a pay and display parking adjacent to registration with alternative parking if this is full available in the vicinity (various including in the Market Place, please park considerately and consider car sharing if driving to this event).
There are no official bike racks in the vicinity, however there are several features which could be used to secure your bike.
Registration will be manned throughout the event so bags etc. may be left here at the owner’s risk.

Map & Area: Wolsingham and surrounding areas – Scale 1:7500, 10m contours. StreetO Map style produced using Open Orienteering Mapper.
