Organiser’s Comments – Matthew Foskett
Thanks to all who walked, ran or jogged round our first event in the Summer Street-O series. There were 35 people in total at the event which was great and it was brilliant to see several people trying orienteering for the first time, as well as several very experienced orienteers too!
I hope you all enjoyed it – our next Street-O event will be at The Sands, Durham on Wednesday 21st June. For those who are feeling competitive we’ll be keeping a combined score over the Street-O series…
We also have a local park event on Saturday 17th June at Herrington Country Park. All details will be on the website shortly. It is worth highlighting that we also do Club Nights each Wednesday in the Durham area – all welcome! The details for these Club Nights usually appear on our website/Facebook on a Sunday evening/Monday morning. We
can also be contacted via Facebook or email ([email protected]).
Thanks to all who helped run this event – in particular to Dave Peel who planned the course.
